Operations Update: January 11th

Storm Report:

Remember when we were begging for Mother Nature to bless us? Well, she brought a massive storm to Powder Mountain and she will be raging all week long.

On Sunday, January 7th we reported 7.5” overnight, and we received an additional 4.5” during day operations. On Monday, January 8th we reported 4” overnight, bringing the first wave of the storm to 16”. Woody's World reopened on Monday with freshies!

The second wave of the storm kicked off on Wednesday, January 10th with 4" overnight. There was delayed opening on Paradise, Lightning Ridge, and Cobabe Canyon as ski patrol secured the areas. Snow and wind levels have been extreme all day long, causing closing and reopening of Woody's World due to road conditions.

Between today and Monday, January 13th we are predicting up to 60”! Crank that stokeometer to 100% and secure your lift ticket now. Wear extra layers, bring powder riding gear, and buckle up for a week full of powder days!!!
