Powder Art Foundation
Land Art & Sculpture Museum
Art has long held a special place at Powder. From our most recently installed by Gerard & Kelly, to the by Susan Phillipz, and our rideable paper airplane sculpture by Griffin Loop, we believe that art can play an important and dynamic role in the mountain landscape, creating a sense of wonder while bringing us closer to nature.
To further our commitment to the arts, we’re establishing the Powder Art Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating the legacy of land art and supporting the vision of contemporary artists on Powder Mountain. One of our key initiatives is to create an open-air museum and sculpture park where visitors will experience site-specific artworks integrated throughout the terrain.
Access will be free and open to the public for hiking and biking during summer and fall months, and skiable with a season pass or lift ticket during the winter.
The Powder Art Foundation is made possible through the philanthropic support of founding and principal donor Reed Hastings.
