Promoted from Retail Manager to Director of Retail & Rentals
“What's not to love?! Obviously, the environment is incredible. Being in the mountains always has, and always will, spark wonder in my soul, and the fact I get to call this my office brings me joy daily. The constant forward motion that Reed has brought creates an atmosphere of growth and has kept things exciting and fresh. Being surrounded by a team of positive leaders is incredibly refreshing and continues to push my personal and professional growth. Also...the gnar, shredding the gnar.”
Capri Thomas, at Powder since 2024
Hired for the position of Workplace Manager
“I have a history of working for unique business models, aiming to be either the sole or the top service provider in the industry. When I learned about the chance to enhance the workplace for North America's largest ski resort currently reinventing the traditional snow recreation model, I was all in. Joining Powder presents an exciting challenge to optimize the workplace and support employees at a time where Powder Mountain is redefining mountain real estate and snow recreation.”
Jason Gerding, at Powder since February 2024
Hired for the position of Powder Stays Maintenance Technician
“Such an amazing ski resort with all types of terrain and a very peaceful feeling like nowhere else. A mountain that will keep you looking and moving forward. I love how there are not many ropes telling you where to go. Much like others here, we don't go straight down a run, much rather traverse across more than 3, to get all those little lines. Our guests and employees are all so motivated and you can feel we all share that joy.”
Marissa Greenough, at Powder since 2024
Hired for the position of Sales Administrator for Powder Haven Development
“As someone who has always been drawn to the mountains, I never imagined I'd find a place as special as this valley. I'm filled with gratitude to be part of a team dedicated to creating a haven where adventure, nature, and a new beautiful community converge.”
Austin Jamieson, at Powder since 2015
Promoted from Lift Maintenance Technician to Art Operations & Lift Maintenance Supervisor
“Working in this environment is nothing short of a dream come true for me! My first time snowboarding at Powder Mountain was in 2005, and in 2015 I started working as a seasonal operator. In 2016 I was working with the installation team, constructing Village and Mary's lifts. After construction was complete, I was hired full-time as a lift maintenance technician. I have learned so much while working in this amazing atmosphere and I feel honored to help create something special at Powder Mountain.”
