HOWDY, PARTNER!
Calling all cowboys and cowgirls, the Yeehaw Thaw is rolling into town! We're bringing the Wild West to the slopes of Powder Mountain to celebrate spring and send us into the end of the season. We'll spend the day blazing trails and carving turns. There will be a little something for every cowpoke, including a pond skim, igloo dance party, mechanical bull, bounce house, and live music.
Western-wear encouraged!
From the slopes to the saloon and everywhere in between, get ready for a day filled with sun, snow, and a whole lotta yeehaw!
POND SKIM
10:00 AM - 3:30 PM
This ain't our first rodeo - back by popular demand, we're bringing the pond skim to Powder Mountain for the second year! Hold onto your cowboy hat, and gather speed down Drifter to make it across. This free event is open for all to enjoy, and no pre-registration is required, but you need to sign a waiver outside the yurt if you want to skim.
IGLOO DANCE PARTY
11:00 AM -2:00 PM: The Pranksters
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM: DJ Matty Mo
The igloo was a hit after our first dance party during February Passholder Weekends. This time around, it’s for everyone to enjoy! This isn't your typical two-step, though; there will be live music by The Pranksters and DJ Matty Mo, and they're ready to bring the party. Grab your dancing boots and get down in front of the Timberline Lodge all afternoon. If weather becomes a factor, we’ll hold the hoedown in the Powder Keg saloon instead.
MECHANICAL BULL RIDING

It wouldn't be a real rodeo without some bull riding, so we're bringing in a mechanical bull. Uncover your inner cowboy or cowgirl and saddle up for a wild ride in the Timberline parking lot! Can you handle an 8-second ride, or will you hold on for longer? Ride hard or stay home, partner!
