Letter from Kevin Mitchell, GM Powder Mountain
Dear Powder Community,
As the snow blankets our mountain, we look forward to welcoming you back to another incredible season at Powder starting on December 6th. Here’s what’s new:
- A new fixed-grip quad from the base of the Timberline lift to the top of Lightning Ridge, opening up vast new lift-served intermediate and expert terrain, and enabling people to ski from Timberline down to Sundown.
- A high-speed detachable quad upgrade on Paradise, replacing a fixed-grip quad
- A fixed-grip quad upgrade on Timberline, replacing a 50-year-old fixed-grip double
- New terrain parks at Sundown & Hidden Lake
- A new 150 spot parking lot at Hidden Lake
- Cleaned up Sundown base area with the ski bump and trailers removed
- Night skiing remains $19
- Season passes are not limited – we are encouraging them – and capping day tickets as needed to ensure we stay uncrowded
- Season Passholder Only Weekends and Events in February
- Automated ticket gates at all lifts to speed up loading and inhibit non-payers
We’re committed to keeping Powder Mountain an uncrowded and independent ski destination for all who visit — a place where you can leave the crowds behind.
If you haven’t yet purchased your season pass, and would like to consider joining us this season, you can do so below. Becoming a season pass holder is more than just gaining access to the slopes—it’s joining a family of adventurers who share our passion for the mountain and stewarding its future for generations to come.
See you on the hill.
Kevin Mitchell, GM Powder
