Powder Mountain's Responsibility Code
No matter what brought you to Powder Mountain—family, friends, breathtaking views, or a love for the outdoors—knowing the responsibility code ensures your time on the slopes is both safe and unforgettable. Ski patrol is always here to assist. Contact them at 801-745-3772 ext. 3.
Winter sports involve risk of serious injury or death. Your knowledge, decisions, and actions contribute to your safety and that of others. If you need help understanding the Code, please ask any ski area employee.
The rider must also be able to demonstrate a safe and acceptable solution for ski lift loading and unloading that is within the parameters of the ski lift design and operating standards, which does not interfere with other users. The rider must slide down the offloading ramp, not walk when getting off the lift.

Stay Safe on the Slopes with AirFlare
AirFlare turns your phone into a safety and rescue beacon, helping Ski Patrol quickly locate skiers in need within cell service. It also offers self-help features like finding friends or navigating to them with one tap. Powder Mountain Ski Patrol now uses AirFlare Search Technology to enhance mountain safety. This app complements but does not replace an avalanche transceiver.
