Lift Up is a program designed to encourage volunteerism and support Utah nonprofit organizations. Powder Mountain will offer a free lift ticket for volunteers who donate six hours of time to select regional organizations. (Limit 1 per person per organization per season.)
To participate in the program, contact the volunteer managers at the following organizations to set up your volunteer schedule. Once you’ve finished your six hours, your volunteer manager will give you a signed form to bring to the Powder Mountain ticket window to receive your lift ticket.

The mission of the Ogden Nature Center is to unite people with nature and nurture appreciation and stewardship of the environment.
Ogden Nature Center volunteers will provide great customer service to our visitors by orienting them to the Nature Center, answering phones, cleaning and assisting with the gift shop, with the goal helping our visitors connect with nature and being good stewards of the environment.
The mission of Ogden Nordic is to promote the sport of cross country skiing in the Ogden Area through information, trail planning & construction, coaching, events, and social gatherings.
Ogden Nordic volunteers will help with grooming, trail trimming, general maintenance, staffing the Nordic center, and coaching.
The primary goal of the Weber County Library System is to provide access to a rich amalgamation of relevant information resources, programs, and services, enabling users to make meaningful decisions in their lives and participate as full fledged members of our democratic society.
Volunteers of the Weber County Library can expect to do a variety of tasks aimed at making library facilities run smoothly. These tasks may include outside maintenance, such as raking leaves, snow removal, and gardening. Inside duties will include basic cleaning of the building, dusting shelves, cleaning and organizing books, and assisting staff with the preparation of programming materials.
St. Anne’s Center exists to aid the poor, needy and homeless by providing them food, shelter and critical emergency services. The center provides a hand up rather than a hand out. St. Anne’s goal is to transition residents from shelter to housing; encouraging their sense of independence, self-sufficiency and self-confidence. St. Anne’s is committed to carry out this mission while treating those who come to us with compassion, dignity and respect.
Volunteers at St. Anne’s help prepare and serve meals, sort donations, clean, help children with homework, reading, provide activities and so much more.
South Salt Lake PAL is a positive youth development organization that utilizes educational, athletic and recreational activities to create trust and understanding between police officers and youth provide mentoring opportunities to youth and encourage healthy decision making and self-esteem.
Volunteers at PAL Community Center can help with homework, mentoring, help serving meals, boxing (through motivation, helping coaches, working out alongside youth), or recreation.
The mission of the Boys and Girls Club is to inspire and enable the youth in their communities to become caring and responsible individuals through guidance-oriented adult relationships and engagement in a variety of enriching activities within a safe environment.
Volunteers will participate in the after-school program and assist staff in activities that fall into one of three pillars: academic success, healthy lifestyles and good character and citizenship with youth age 6-18.
