Powder Mountain Resort has announced the latest addition to its Mountain Adventure Center with the introduction of a new Sunset Snowcat Tour. The guided tours take guests to mountain peaks between 8,600 and 9,100 feet, all with unobstructed views of Ogden Valley, the Wasatch Mountains and beyond to the Uinta Mountain Range. The tours culminate with alfresco dining while watching the sun set over the Wasatch Mountains. On the return trip, moonlight turns the snow covered slopes into a shimmering wonderland, adding a romantic touch to the adventure. This is a great way to introduce the non-skier to the beauty of Powder Mountain and for those familiar with the ski area, a chance to experience a part of the mountain few have seen before.

"Viewing the beauty of the snow covered peaks and valleys, pines, aspens and natural rock formations, and looking over the outlook into the Ogden Valley below from the warmth and comfort of our custom built snowcat cab is a real treat," remarked Gregg Greer, President and CEO of Powder Mountain Resort Management. "Doing all that and then getting to see the sun set over the Wasatch Range past the Great Salt Lake and into the West Desert is a once in a lifetime experience. We are very happy to be able to offer this unique experience to our guests."
