Starting March 3rd, Night Skiing will be OPEN Thursday-Sunday for the rest of the season. Night skiing will not operate on Mon, Tues or Wed nights. Night skiing operates from 3-9pm on Sundown Lift and tickets are only $22 Adults / $18 Children age 7-12 / 6 and under are Free. Come up and shred under the lights.

The past few days have produced an extremely memorable storm. Over 36" of new snow have fallen since the storm began and more is expected throughout the week. At 9am the following lifts and areas will be open for operation...Sundown, Timberline, Hidden Lake. Night Skiing will also operate from 3pm-9pm. Sunrise, Paradise, Powder Country and Lighting Ridge will remain closed today for ongoing avalanche mitigation and clean up. We promise to get you into these areas open as soon as we can safely do so. **SKI PATROL has asked that everyone please obey all posted rope lines, signs and warnings for your own safety and the safety of others. Conditions are EPIC...Have Fun making bottomless turns!!!
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has closed the gate at the bottom of the road and is removing snow at this time. Plan at this time is to clear the road and we are hoping to be able to get our employees to the mountain by 11am and have the lifts turning for a 12 noon opening. Stay tuned here or on Facebook. Thanks for your understanding and consideration as we are working diligently to get the mountain open as soon as conditions allow.
SR 158 is still closed and crews with heavy machinery are still working to clear the road from the top and the bottom of the slide. At this time we are tentatively planning for a 1pm opening. Once the road is safe and open we will need to get our employees to the mountain and deployed to all open lifts, lodges, ticket office, etc. We appreciate your patience and hope to be shredding world famous POW as soon as possible. I will keep you posted as I hear more from our mtn operations team.
Updated at 12:30pm...Powder Mountain will remain closed for the remainder of the day and night skiing will remain closed as well. Due to an avalanche and ongoing clean up, UDOT plans to keep the road closed until it is clear from debris and all avalanche paths are deemed safe. Our teams are performing avalanche mitigation and will continue to do so for the rest of the day. We truly appreciate your patience and please know that we are doing all we can to get the mountain open safely tomorrow. It is going to be a POWDER filled week and conditions are going to be all-time. We'll be sure to keep you posted in the morning and as of now we are expecting to open for business as usual.
Powder Mountain has received the most epic storm in the past 3 seasons, but unfortunately, the Mountain WILL NOT Open today due to sustained and excessive winds of more than 50mph, with gusts up to 70+. Winds are supposed to maintain through late afternoon. Night Skiing will also be Closed tonight. Tomorrow and the next several days will be all-time.

Burton Snowboards presents the Party In Your Park on Saturday, Jan 4th. It's a Rail Jam for all ages and abilities in the Hidden Lake Terrain Park. Free comp for the first 60 snowboarders that register...all ages and abilities welcome. Registration is from 9-10am at Hidden Lake...Event starts at 11am. Prizes from Burton. Music by DJ Matty Mo. Lucky Slice and Honest Beverage will provide food and drinks.
Monday, December 30th from 2-5pm in the Powder Keg the Desert Rocks Music Festival premieres Southern Rock N Roll Band Wisebird from Austin Texas along with Utah's new super band Lady Legs and Undercover Celebration! Wisebird is the band that Desert Rock was founded upon and Lady Legs is a newly formed all star group featuring the top musicians from the following band Marinade (Tallia Keys), The Pour Horse (Nik Grainger and Jeremy Whitesides), Tanglewood (Rick Gerber), and Transportation (Nate Barkdull). Undercover Celebration features Desert Rocks co-founder Luke Benson playing with Nik Grainger from Lady Legs. This is going to be one for the books, so don't miss it!

Sundown Lift operates from 3pm-9pm and ticket prices are the same as last year $18 ages 7-12 / $22 Adults. Sundown and Timberline are OPEN for day skiing everyday from 9am-4:30pm.
